An important image.

After a conversation we had at my Aunt and Uncle's house, after a memorial for my cousin (their son) B. I came across this image and I wonder what he would think.

Go and click. It is one of the most important images I've seen in a long while.

Colin Powell would have been a wonderful president. :( I watched "Meet the Press" yesterday but had not seen the photo before this. Thanks for sharing.

Here here! And I totally agree with loribeth - if Colin Powell had ever ran for president I would TOTALLY have voted for him!

Thanks for drawing attention to Colin Powell's statement - a much needed voice of reason when so many people are making so many bigoted and uniformed public statements.

Beautiful but haunting photograph....people tend to lose sight that America is a melting pot still today - and the recipe includes Muslims.
